In high summer, Season my fragrant black tea With the spice of autumn: Cardamom and ginger, Cinnamon and clove. Let me taste the coming Chill, Even as the sun Burns my skin. In feast and abundance, I will sip bitter Dandelion root tea With black pepper. I will taste Lent and Remember.
